" From Beginner to Professional
"

The harp is a beautiful instrument and many people have wanted to learn it, but believe it was too complicated. The harp is no more difficult to play than any other instrument. The level of difficulty depends on your goals as a harpist. We may work together to take you to any level you wish.

Age is not a factor, and you may start at any time. Children as young as five begin lessons and adults over 55 enjoy playing for their own pleasure or for family and friends. Even if you don’t know how to read music, it is always exciting to learn something new.

Many people do not take harp lessons because they believe a harp is too expensive, but there are options. First, you can rent a harp! There are places that rent them for reasonable rates. Renting is a very good idea for beginners. Second, you can buy a used harp, which are usually less expensive than new ones. Third, if you decide to stay with the harp, harp manufacturers have special programs to help buyers.

For those in Arizona, I teach in Mesa, Chandler, and Tempe. Lessons may be arranged at your home, my home, or at a studio in the Mesa area. Please contact me with any questions you may have. I would love to talk with you, play the harp for you, and answer all your questions.

Arizona residents may contact Alla regarding harp rentals and purchases.
